| BENEFITS TO DRIVING FOR V&S MIDWEST CARRIERS |
Paid on Hub Miles
All drivers are paid off the hub, this practice has fallen by the wayside for many mid to large size trucking companies who pay off shortest and practical miles of a computer. If you are a driver, you know what this means… you drive a certain amount of miles and get paid for less, plain and simple. Well, at V&S Midwest we still pay the old way… the fair way.
$300 Expense Money EFS
Every Saturday your EFS Fuel/Credit card loads up with $300 which you will have full access to for advances and company related expenses. Never leave on a run without money in your pocket again.
Home Weekly
Our sales staff continues to find customers that fit our philosophy of sending drivers on loads from our home area, and loading them back home. We won’t send drivers all over the country looking for the best priced freight, we need you back home to service our core customers for the following weeks load.
All Drops and Pick ups Paid
The custom for many trucking companies is that the first drop and pick up are free. We pay for every drop and pick up on the following scale…
| 1st drop/pick |
$10.00 |
| 2nd, 3rd, 4th drop / pick |
$20.00 |
| 5th drop / pick and above |
$30.00 |
Detention Pay / Layover Pay
Detention and layovers are paid on a per occurance basis. We try to be as fair as
possible to drivers put in unfortunate situations.
BESTPASS
Bestpass is a single transponder you place in the window of your truck with multiple duties...
- Works as an EZ Pass for Illinois and eastern toll roads
